Cambridge Science Festival - Cavendish Physics Zone

Welcome to the Cavendish Laboratory's Physics Zone from 1-5pm on Saturday 23rd March as part of Cambridge Science Festival 2013.

We welcome visitors of all ages and there are many drop in activities to make and do, experiments to watch and much, much more. In the case of our lectures they are designed to be interactive and engaging and we state the age range of the intended audience in brackets. The hands-on activities are suitable for children aged 6+.

To manage our visitor numbers we ask that you book for the lectures and planetarium shows. (Some lecture seats will be kept open as drop in seats on the day but it is better to book to avoid disappointment).

This link is the booking form for the lecture and planetarium shows. Once you submit the form you will be asked to confirm and then print out your tickets. You will need to bring these tickets with you on the day.

To ensure as many opportunities as possible the maximum number of lectures booked per family is 3 but these 3 can be combined with any of our other "drop-in", hands-on activities.
